Leaders spend an average of 40-50% of their working hours in meetings. This week, post a video about a meeting you recently attended. Using aliases, critique the attendees (who were there and why you think they were there), the agenda, the length of the meeting, the problem-solving approach and the leader’s ability to manage the meeting. Ensure your video posting references at least one peer-reviewed source published within the last 3 years. Your video posts should be approximately 3 minutes in length. Support your statements with logic and argument, citing any sources referenced. Be sure to respond to at least two of your peers' posts, as well. Limit your video to 5 minutes or less. Good communication is concise and mindfully planned.
REAL LIFE APPLICATION: Based on what you have learned, which of the elements you critiqued were most effective and why? What would you change? Make sure to come back and add to this discussion throughout the course, and make sure to reply to other learners as you see fit.
Be sure to post an initial, substantive response by Thursday at 11:59 p.m. MT and respond to 2 or more peers with substantive responses by Sunday at 11:59 p.m. MT. A substantive initial post answers the question presented completely and/or asks a thoughtful question pertaining to the topic. Substantive peer responses ask a thoughtful question pertaining to the topic and/or answers a question (in detail) posted by another student or the instructor.
