Katherine McCord — Neurodiversity at Work, Unlocking Untapped Talent (#133)

Neurodiversity reflects natural differences in how people think, learn, and process information — yet traditional workplace systems often exclude the very talent they claim to support. In this episode, Gregory Favazza and Katherine McCord break down how conditions such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia, bipolar disorder, and OCD are misunderstood, misrepresented, and mishandled in professional environments.
The conversation explores self‑awareness, identity, coping mechanisms, and practical self‑advocacy, reframing neurodiversity as a systems and performance issue rather than a personal deficit. Gregory and Katherine examine how workplace norms, communication expectations, and outdated processes create friction for neurodistinct employees — and what inclusive design actually requires in practice.
This is a grounded, human conversation about understanding your brain, advocating for your needs, and building workplaces where cognitive diversity can thrive.

Katherine shares her lived experience and professional insight into self‑awareness, identity, and regulation, while Gregory examines how organizational design shapes performance and psychological safety. Gregory Favazza: Veteran, Host, Leadership Expert
Gregory Favazza is the host of Your Transformation Station, a podcast focused on clarity, discipline, and the psychological mechanics behind real change.
He holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership. His academic training is paired with lived experience as a military veteran who has operated inside high pressure systems where performance, morale, and accountability are not theoretical concepts. They are survival skills.
Gregory approaches transformation clinically rather than motivationally. His conversations cut through surface level advice and expose the systems beneath behavior. Power dynamics. Incentives. Identity. Emotional regulation. Accountability. He challenges guests and listeners to stop reacting, start reading situations accurately, and lead themselves with precision.
His style is direct, controlled, and intentionally uncomfortable for anyone addicted to excuses or performance based confidence. Your Transformation Station attracts leaders, creators, and thinkers who value depth over hype and self control over noise. People who understand that change is not inspirational. It is operational. #podcasts #yourtransformationstation #leadership

Universal Workplace Design Innovator Creating a More Effective and Sustainable World of Work (People Operations and Recruiting)
I live to fulfill my three missions: integrity, innovation, and inclusion!
At the pinnacle of my work and those missions is my magnum opus, Universal Workplace Design. This program combines the function of universal design, an old IT and Architectural concept, innovative people operation aspects, and neuroscience to create the ultimate workplace design!
This program works!
Here is a little bit more about me...
I went from being the little girl that sold "shares" in her "company" and played HR even firing my own mother at the tender age of six (not kidding!) to the woman that invented the first anti-resume and anti-bias ATS, builds and rehabs HR and TA programs around the country, and has two seizures and still gets up on stage for her big speech.
I am neurodiverse and physically diverse, and I am successful WITH my diversity, not in spite of it.
In several ways, my neurodiversity has even helped me accelerate my career!
I am a national consultant, author, speaker, and inventor.
What can I say?
I like to be busy, and I enjoy my work!
I spend my days building and rehabbing HR, TA, and DEI programs. From compliance and data analytics to employee relations and branding, this work is my jam. I have played a significant role in getting 18 (and counting) start-ups off the ground ranging from FinTech to Sports to Retail companies, and I have played both short- and long-term interim roles in dozens more.
I LOVE to get on stage to speak and teach! One of my greatest …Read More
